TRAINING FOR CLIMBING
Most climbers want the same things.
Stronger fingers. Better technique. The ability to climb harder, avoid injury and make steady progress.
We hear it all the time.
"I'm climbing a lot, but I don't really feel like I'm improving."
Climbers don't always know what to focus on in each session. That's not surprising. There's a huge amount of information available, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
Ultimately, you want to walk into the gym with a plan and leave knowing you've spent your time well.
We’re going to show you how.
Know exactly what to do everytime you walk into the gym.
Developed by Vertical Ascents for the Northside community, this 12-week coaching and training program helps you build better climbing sessions, make consistent progress and learn how to train for climbing.
Rather than simply giving you a plan to follow, you'll learn how to make better decisions about your climbing and training. The goal is to give you a system you can continue using long after the 12 weeks are over.
Meet Your Coaches
Hi, I’m Simon Moore, the founder of Vertical Ascents.
I’ve been climbing for over 30 years and coaching for the last 15. During that time, I’ve helped hundreds of climbers build better sessions, improve their training, and send their hardest climbs.
I coach climbers internationally and live near Fair Head in Northern Ireland.
I’m Euan Brown, a Vertical Ascents coach based in Melbourne.
I first came to Vertical Ascents as a coaching client myself. After experiencing the benefits of coaching firsthand, I eventually joined the coaching team.
I’m co-hosting the program and excited to help you improve your training and take your climbing to the next level.
When I’m not in Melbourne, I’m usually climbing at Arapiles or in the Grampians.
