I'm a Certified AMGA Rock Guide and the founder of Vertical Ascents. I’ve been climbing for over 30 years, and coaching climbers of all levels for the past 15.

Fontainebleau is, without a doubt, my favorite place to climb. I’ve spent years exploring the forest and searching out the best climbs to develop the essential skills every climber needs. There’s something magical about Font — it’s the perfect environment to grow. There are climbs for everyone, and every move is — simply put — joyful.
